SOUP were approached to design a new dwelling with studio space in the Suffolk countryside on the site of a dilapidated bungalow. The site is surrounded by woodland and agricultural land, the proposed scheme occupies a similar footprint to the existing but re-orientated to engage with the site’s spectacular views across the undulating landscape. 

The main living space is placed at first floor level to further capture the panoramic views, whilst the two generous bedrooms, photography studio and ancillary spaces are at ground floor level, directly connected with the proposed landscaped gardens.
